Foodie Feature: Benjamin Flajnik

Benjamin (Ben) Flajnik

Title: Director of Business Development

What I Do at Voyage: As the Director of Business Development, it’s my responsibility to direct brand development, help craft messaging, build go-to-market strategies, and ultimately sell our products in various channels.

What a Typical Day at Work Looks Like For Me: In true start-up fashion, every day is different… and I like it that way! I’m faced with new challenges around bringing these products to market, making sales calls, managing creative, brand messaging, and weighing in on company strategy. It’s hard to believe that I’ve already been at Voyage for over a year and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished in such a short period of time.

Product(s) I’m Most Excited About: Well, the roadmap is vast and all of the products are super exciting, but replacing chocolate and coffee has me most excited. The coffee bean and raw cacao are such large scale global commodities and we have a gigantic opportunity to change the future of those crops. That said, our Peanut-Free Spread is special because it’s our first child getting ready to spread its wings and show the world what we’ve been up to.

My Most Controversial/Unique Food Opinion: Aioli is overrated.
